On January 25th, the kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project FoodConsious (01/11/2022- 31/10/2025), in which DIMITRA Educational Organization participates, took place online.

During the meeting, an overview of the project’s planned progress was given. Further, the expected results and immediate next steps were presented and discussed.

The project is coordinated by the Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) and involves partners from Greece (DIMITRA), Italy (TUCEP), Spain (INFODEF) and Slovenia (SOLSKI CENTER VELENJE).

The overall objective of the project is to raise awareness among food service workers and consumers on how they can contribute to reducing food waste. At the same time, a training programme will be set up so that workers in the sector are aware of the need to reduce food waste and work towards the sustainability of the food system.
