We are thrilled to share the highlights from our recent meeting in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, on April 9-10, 2024, for the FATIMA2 project! This productive gathering brought together key stakeholders to discuss several important topics and strategize for the future.
Our team engaged in comprehensive discussions on various critical aspects of the FATIMA2 project during our meeting in Plovdiv. We reviewed the progress of our internal and external evaluations, ensuring we are on track to meet our goals and continuously improve our processes. Innovative strategies for engaging young people were explored, aiming to enhance the impact and relevance of our initiatives by actively involving them. The meeting also included an in-depth discussion on the impact of our curriculum on youth workers, where we shared insights and feedback to refine our approach and maximize effectiveness. Local capacity-building activities were another focal point; we reviewed progress, shared best practices, and planned future activities to empower communities. Additionally, updates on the Online Community of Practice highlighted its growth and the positive feedback from participants. One of the meeting’s highlights was our inspiring dialogue with local leaders, where we discussed the challenges faced in combating violence against women and explored collaborative solutions, emphasizing the importance of community involvement.
We are excited to announce the following upcoming activities. The 4th Online Community of Practice Session, led by DIMITRA, will continue to foster knowledge exchange and support among practitioners. Additionally, the Transnational Online Consultation, scheduled for April 26, 2024, will bring together international stakeholders to discuss and advance our project goals.
