The 3rd transnational meeting of the GreenComp School Project was successfully held from June 19-21, 2024, in Nicosia, Cyprus. This milestone event brought together key stakeholders and partners to advance our shared vision of integrating sustainability into primary education.
Key Achievements:
Micro-Credential Training Courses:
We finalized the structure for our micro-credential training courses, designed to enhance sustainability education. These courses will empower educators to integrate green skills into their teaching practices effectively.
Curriculum Development:
During the meeting, we presented and discussed all 12 key competencies of the GreenComp framework. The focus was on developing participatory activities that make sustainability learning both engaging and interactive for students.
Digitalization and Validation:
We made significant progress in planning the digitalization of our activities. This step is crucial for aligning our educational tools with the project’s goals and ensuring that our resources are accessible to a broader audience.
Looking Ahead
As we move forward, our commitment is to finalize and publish these curricula, further amplifying our impact on sustainability education in primary schools. We are excited to continue our work towards fostering a greener future and look forward to sharing more updates with you soon.
