Project Description
G.S.R. aims to contribute substantially to sustainable socio-economic development of South East Europe (SEE) regions, through effectively tackling one of the most crucial issues: The quality and sustainability of the Public Sector and of its outcomes. Specifically G.S.R. focused on the dynamic enhancement of the competences and the capacity of the governmental agencies, with the aim not only to improve productivity and efficiency (taken as significant, but secondary results), but most of all to initiate and facilitate the transition process towards excellence, as well as to define and introduce the concept of organizational social responsibility in the Public Sectors Agencies and to build upon it.
Towards this direction, the partners worked on the development of a Model G.S.R. System which was practiced in specific departments of governmental agencies of the target regions, leading to the design and application of pilot Action Plans in corresponding critical fields of intervention.
The project was implemented on behalf of the Decentralized Administration of Attica.
