Introducing the VIRDUAL Project: Transforming VET with Extended Reality

The VIRDUAL project is an Erasmus+ KA2 initiative focused on driving digital innovation in Vocational Education and Training (VET). By integrating Extended Reality (XR) into work-based learning programs, the project equips VET trainers and apprentices with cutting-edge digital tools to enhance work-readiness skills.

This collaborative initiative brings together seven partners from six European countries, including:

  • Centro Servizi Formazione (Italy) – Project Coordinator
  • INFODEF (Spain)
  • DIMITRA Education & Consulting (Greece)
  • Istanbul Valiliği (Turkey)
  • CARDET (Cyprus)
  • SBG Dresden (Germany)
  • INNOQUALITY Systems (Ireland)

VIRDUAL is developing a structured training curriculum, an interactive e-learning platform, and XR-powered lessons, creating immersive and practical learning experiences. Pilot programs will be implemented across participating countries, engaging VET trainers and apprentices to test and refine these innovative digital learning methods.

By bridging the gap between education and industry needs, VIRDUAL is shaping the future of vocational training, making it more engaging, accessible, and aligned with the demands of the modern workforce. Stay tuned for updates as we advance digital transformation in VET across Europe.
