Project Description
In applied policy level, the achievement of the European strategy with regard to education and training require coordination of stakeholders in the implementation of basic common quality principles in the design, delivery and certification of outputs, as well as procedures and mechanisms of quality assurance and improvement.
On this basis and as a result of trans-European cooperation the European model for Quality Assurance in Vocational Education and Training (VET) which is based on the Common Quality Assurance Framework (CQAF) for VET was developed and addressed to training providers. This functional model includes tools and documents, which are common at EU level to ensure the quality of Vocational Education and Training. The purpose of this model is to help EU Member States develop, improve, monitor and evaluate VET systems, based on common criteria, principles and tools. It focuses on common parameters for quality assurance in VET providers while taking under consideration national particularities.
