Introducing the NEARVET Community of Practice
We are thrilled to announce the launch of the NEARVET Community of Practice (CoP), a groundbreaking initiative designed to advance the field of Vocational Education and Training (VET) across six EU countries. This dynamic and transnational network aims to address the key question: “What are the needs of applied researchers in VET, and how can we effectively meet them?”
What is the NEARVET Community of Practice?
The NEARVET CoP is a collaborative hub bringing together VET professionals and researchers from Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, Sweden, and beyond. This initiative is designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas, methodologies, and innovative approaches to enhance VET practices.
Key Features of the NEARVET CoP
- Transnational Collaboration: Our CoP spans multiple EU countries, creating a rich environment for cross-border knowledge sharing and collaboration.
- Local CoPs: In addition to the overarching network, local CoPs will be established in each participating country, including Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Sweden. These local groups will focus on country-specific needs and provide tailored discussions and solutions.
- Diverse Practitioner Engagement: Each local CoP will consist of approximately 120 practitioners, ensuring a broad and diverse range of perspectives and expertise.
- Synergistic Approach: The integration of local and transnational CoPs ensures a comprehensive exchange of insights and innovative practices, enhancing the overall impact of the network.
